Keep The Kids Busy

Fun activites whatever the weather.

  • The Buzz - With space for soft play, laser arenas which include alien and dragon rooms and multiple themed rooms your kids can even have a party in!

  • Cineworld - A 12 screen cinema so you can enjoy your favourite film too, with popcorn and sweets galore!

  • Xtreme Karting - Scotland's only 5 star karting experience, you have to be 8years old to drive so a good one for older members of the family.

  • Megazone - Great fun for all the family, with state of the art laser guns and body pack which picks up how many times you have been shot.  Its not expensive, the space is quite dark with quite alot of nooks and crannies, so not for the faint hearted.

  • Falkirk Stadium - Enjoy football? Take the kids to a home game to cheer on the Barins.

  • Callendar House - Free entry with lots to see and do, I've been a few times and every time I go I see something I missed previously. Delve into history spanning 600 years, a kitchen with a roaring open fire where you can sample Georgian food. Visit a clock maker and a sweet shop.

  • Parks - Callander park has more to offer than just its House, with crazy golf, bouncy castle, go-karting and huge play park everyone will leave with a smile on their face.

          - Dollar park is a smaller park which has just been demolished and re-built. The new park has a sinking ship as its main attraction with lots of grass area for tennis and football.

          - Irn-bru park is situated at the Falkirk Wheel and a maze of swings and climbing frames.

  • Canals - You can cycle for miles either to Glasgow or Edinburgh along the canal towpaths, with lovely scenery, take a picnic and enjoy the sights.

What do you have fun doing with the kids? Comment below...
